Saeda Albarawi has been practicing physiotherapy for the last 18 years, either as a therapist, by providing technical support and mentoring, and as a trainer. She gained her physiotherapy diploma at UNRWA College (1998), BSC from Islamic university (2000), and is currently doing Master in Public health and health management in Al-Quds university. She is working for the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) as a physiotherapist since June 2010. Her main responsibility is providing physiotherapy technical support for ICRC supported physical rehabilitation centre, MoH physical rehabilitation unit as well as Palestinian physiotherapy association. Supported MoH through a project to improve inpatient physiotherapy services in 5 main hospitals in Gaza. She worked with UNRWA out-patients clinics in Gaza (2003) and was the head of physiotherapy department at the Palestinian wounded association (2003 - 2006). She supervised a BSC thesis at Azhar University which was presented at the ISPO in May 2017 'a survey study of Gaza amputee satisfaction of the prosthetic services' She presented at the IPRED conference in 2015 'The role of the ICRC physiotherapist during emergencies; also planning for emergency'.
