Bio
Born in the United States, but raised in Germany, Anna obtained her Physical Therapy Degree from the European School of Physiotherapy in Amsterdam, Netherlands in 2016. Over the past few years Anna has been involved with several hospitals and rehabilitation centers in Nepal and Bangladesh. She is affiliated with the Duke Global Health Institute, finishing her MSc in Global Health, while obtaining her Physical Therapy accreditation to practice in the United States. Her research focus is on Disability and Rehabilitation in low-resource settings. She spent the last summer in Bangladesh, conducting a qualitative research study on females living with Spinal Cord Injuries, due to sustaining a Scarf Injury, a near fatal type of traffic injury.
