Pathak, Anupa

Anupa Pathak, is a physiotherapist from Nepal currently pursuing a PhD in University of Otago, New Zealand. She completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy honors degree from Kathmandu University School of Medical Sciences, Nepal in 2017.  Her research focuses on incorporating patient’s preferences in the development of patient-reported outcome measures in Nepal. As part of her PhD, she is currently studying use of outcome measures and perceived barriers and facilitators among physiotherapists in Nepal, and working to develop verbal response options for the Patient-Specific Functional Scale. She aims to empower patients to understand health information and take evidence-informed decisions about their health, as well as improve the uptake of evidence-based health care among physiotherapists in Nepal.
