Juhl, Carsten

Carsten Juhl is associate professor at the Institute of Sports Science and Clinical Biomechanics at the University of Southern Denmark and a Senior researcher in Physiotherapy at the University Hospital Copenhagen, Herlev and Gentofte. His main research areas are clinical research investigating the effect of exercise therapy in patients with severe Osteoarthritis, Chronic Obstructive Lung Disease and Cancer. Furthermore, he is a part of the editorial group in Evidence Based Research group (EBR) and performing research on research (clinical epidemiology).

He is the Head of studies in Candidate in Physiotherapy at the University of Southern Denmark, Member of editorial group in Cochrane Musculoskeletal Group (CMSG) osteoarthritis satellite, Member of the advisory board in the Cochrane Rehabilitation field and the editorial board in Journal of Orthopedic & Sports Physical Therapy (JOSPT) with special focus on systematic review.

He has published more than 50 articles in peer-reviewed journals. He is skilled in performing literature search and systematic review and has published more than 25 systematic review within heath science and has been teaching on more than 10 Ph.D. curses in Systematic review and meta-analysis.
