- Prof. Zaqueline Fernandes Guerra is a physiotherapist, member of the Brazilian Association of Neurofunctional Physical Therapy (ABRAFIN), has obtained her PhD in Healthcare at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora, Brazil and is an assistant professor of Physical Therapy in the School of Physical Therapy of the Faculdade de Ciências Médicas de Juiz de Fora, Brazil. She works with motor imagery, publishing articles and obtaining her PhD in this field of knowledge. Currently she has published a systematic review concerning the effects of motor imagery after stroke in the Journal of Neurologic Physical Therapy and has finished a trial concerning the use of motor imagery on mobility for patients in the subacute phase of stroke.
