Anne is an Associate Professor in the School of Public Health, University of Sydney. Anne co-founded and currently manages the Physiotherapy Evidence Database (PEDro; www.pedro.org.au), a free, global internet resource to support evidence-based physiotherapy. Since being launched in 1999, PEDro has been used to answer over 20-million clinical questions posed by users from around the world. In 2017, PEDro had over 2.2 million searches by users from 220 countries and territories. Anne’s research investigates evidence-based practice and the effects of rehabilitation interventions for people with neurotrauma or orthopaedic trauma (hip or ankle fracture). Her research has attracted over $5-million in funding and she has over 150 publications. Anne has expertise in running courses to build skills in evidence-based practice.
