Towards Rehabilitation 2030: actions to strengthen the rehabilitation workforce in low-resource countries

It is estimated that 80% of the world's population with disability reside in low-income countries. Often, rehabilitation services are sparse and not part of the mainstream health service. Key to strengthening global rehabilitation services is ensuring quality education and training opportunities for physiotherapists and other rehabilitation workers. Innovative approaches to education and training are required to ensure that quality rehabilitation services are available to those who need them. How can physiotherapists in low resource countries mobilize others to meet the Rehabilitation 2030 goals?
