Mishael Adje is a clinical physiotherapist at RNZ Occupational Hospital, SHELL IA, Port-Harcourt, Nigeria and a Doctoral student in a co-operative Doctoral program at the Trier University of Applied Sciences, Trier, Germany and University of Lübeck, Lübeck Germany.
His research interests are in the area of Musculoskeletal Health and Ergonomics. He obtained his Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Nigeria, Enugu, Nigeria in 2010 and Masters in Physiotherapy at the University of Lagos, Lagos Nigeria in 2016. He has practised physiotherapy as a clinician within the last 5 years at Shell Hospital Port-Harcourt, Nigeria, and taught as a lecturer at the University of Benin, Benin City, Nigeria. He has some publications and worked on some projects as a research assistant in Germany and in Nigeria, one of which was presented at the WCPT conference in Singapore.
He is currently a scholarship awardee of the Petroleum Technology Development Fund and German Academic Exchange Program (DAAD) which funds his doctoral research in Germany. His research aims at preparing the implementation of stratified care for low back pain in Nigeria.
