Alexandros Sideris (PT, MSc, OMT) is a registered physiotherapist in
Athens, Greece, who works in the fields of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and
Pain Management as a clinician and an educator. He studied Physiotherapy (1992-1996), as well as, Medicine (2000-2006) in Athens.As his main post-graduate training, he studied
Biomedical Acupuncture (2006 – 2008, 300 hours, Medical Doctors’ training
program), and Manual Therapy (2010 – 2011). He acquired his
Master’s degree in Molecular and Applied Physiology from the University of
Athens Medical School.
He is a PhD candidate in Psychogeriatrics. He is an OMT clinical instructor for the IFOMPT
- certified program of Hellenic OMT Diploma, teaching clinical reasoning, pain science and
management, exercise prescription and manual therapy techniques. He is also a
certified instructor of biomedical (science based) acupuncture and dry needling,
for a program of the Hellenic Physiotherapy Society of
Algology and the Lifelong Learning Center of the University of West Attica. He is a clinician with 23 years of experience
in managing musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. He is a co-author for three (3) so far publications on
peer reviewed journals.
