Dr. Goh Ah-Cheng is a Singaporean, currently living and working in Japan for the past 24 years. He is currently the Dean and Professor at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Iryo Sosei University, Japan; and the President of the International Society for Electrophysical Agents in Physical Therapy (ISEAPT). Dr. Goh is a Colombo Plan Scholar with more than 35 years experience as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist. He qualified as a physiotherapist from Auckland, New Zealand, in 1981, and holds a Masters in Applied Science (Physiotherapy) degree from the University of Sydney (1992), and a PhD from Curtin University (2003), Australia. Prior to moving to Japan, he was the Chief Physiotherapist in the Singapore Armed Forces and a past President of the Singapore Physiotherapy Association. Over the past 30 years, he has been an invited guest speaker at various national and international conferences in Europe (Spain, Denmark) and throughout the Asia-Western Pacific region (Singapore, Japan, India, South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Cambodia, Indonesia and Australia). Recently, he was the keynote speaker at the opening ceremony of WCPT Congress 2015 in Singapore.
