Veenhof, Cindy

Cindy Veenhof works as a professor in Physiotherapy Sciences. She works in Utrecht, the Netherlands, both at the University Medical Center Utrecht (department Rehabilitation) and at the University of applied Sciences, department physiotherapy. One of the main research topics of her team is the use of digital tools in the usual care of physiotherapy; Her team has developed many blended care interventions (e.g. for patients with osteoarthritis, low back pain, shoulder pain and stroke). Studies focus on the development of blended care, the feasibility, the (cost)effectiveness and the implementation. She wrote over 100 international publications, presented at many national and international congresses. She also pays a lot of attention to the societal impact of her research; to achieve societal impact she collaborates with many stakeholders and implementation and.or implementation science is always part of her projects.
