I am the Secretary of the International Association of Physiotherapists with an Interest in Older People (IPTOP), a World Physiotherapy subgroup. I work clinically with older people as a Team Lead Physiotherapist in NHS Fife. I am also a Lecturer at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh, Scotland with a particular interest in practice based learning. I am also the co-founder of Physiotalk, running tweetchats fortnightly on a variety of topics of interest to physiotherapists. My recent research has focussed on the outcomes of participating in tweetchats, published most recently as Thomas, J. and Bulley, C.
