Graziella Lippolis is currently rehabilitation technical advisor for Humanity and Inclusion (HI), providing technical support to the physical and functional rehabilitation projects as well as the community based rehabilitation projects mainly from the Latin America and Grand Lakes Africa regions.
Having Master degrees in Physical education (1997) and physiotherapy (1999) from Louvain-la-Neuve University, Graziella has completed her academic qualification with a public health diploma (2008).
She started working as therapist in the private sector in 1999 and then as physiotherapy trainer and rehabilitation manager with different international organizations, mainly in Yemen and Angola.
Since 2005 she is based at the HI office in Belgium were she is in charge of the project’s technical support, monitoring and evaluation as well as the development of policy and methodology guidelines. Actual work focuses on supporting the projects on aspects such as the use of new technologies in the rehabilitation sector, professional education initiatives, quality rehabilitation management as well as providing more global technical support to strengthen rehabilitation policies and action plans.
