Mr. Subhash Sinha work as a Regional Physical Rehabilitation Manager for East Africa at the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) delegation in Rwanda. He is a certified Prosthetist, Orthotist and Pedorthist, having 20 years of experience in physical rehabilitation. Currently, based at Kigali in Rwanda, he is managing the physical rehabilitation programs of the ICRC in East Africa- Tanzania, Rwanda, Somalia, Zambia and Madagascar. He has worked in various other physical rehabilitation projects of the ICRC in Sudan, Yemen, and Gaza before joining the East Africa team. While working with ICRC, he completed various leadership training programs including Humanitarian Leadership Management School (HLMS), professional enhancement like Wheelchair Services (Intermediate level) and Community Based Rehabilitation & International Development. He also worked with other renowned national and international institutions like Humanity Inclusion, Motivation Charitable Trust and Mobility India before joining ICRC.
Mr. Subhash Sinha has worked with the Ministry of Health in Tanzania, Rwanda and Zambia to establish a Rehabilitation Technical Working Group in each country. He coordinated with the country's rehabilitation stakeholders to complete the Systematic Assessment of Rehabilitation Situation (STARS). He is actively involved in developing the National Rehabilitation Strategy and Monitoring Framework for Tanzania.
