Remla Mramba Shirima: BSc(Hons) Physiotherapy, MBA (Int. Health), PgC MSK Diagnosis Remla has 20 years of work experience in healthcare, both internationally and in Tanzania. Her work experience as a physiotherapist in the UK includes working in the British National Health Service (NHS), private hospitals & clinics and voluntary sectors. In Tanzania, she has work experience in the private sector. Remla founded a healthcare company Physiocare (T) Ltd, 14 years ago and is the Managing Director. Clinically she has worked extensively in the following specialities orthopaedics, musculoskeletal and palliative care. Remla has worked closely with international organisations within the field of health. She has worked also with charitable organisations including setting up drop-in health service centre and setting up and run a community based exercise classes for the elderly. Remla sits in various boards and platforms with both health and social causes in Tanzania. Remla has spoken in conferences locally and internationally in issues pertaining to Physiotherapy Profession. Remla is a strong activist for better service and development of Physiotherapy Profession in Tanzania.
