Karen McCreesh is a Senior Lecturer and Discipline Lead for Physiotherapy at the School of Allied Health, University of Limerick, Ireland. She is an experienced musculoskeletal physiotherapy educator, researcher, clinician, and a qualified musculoskeletal sonographer, with research interests in musculoskeletal disorders, and ultrasound imaging. She has published more than 50 peer-reviewed journal articles, and presents regularly at national and international conferences. She has supervised 3 PhD students to completion, and currently supervises a team of 5 PhD and 2 MSc research students. As a strong advocate of knowledge transfer into clinical practice, Karen is a founder member and Chair of the Irish Shoulder and Elbow Rehabilitation Society, and an active Twitter user where she shares the latest research (@Karen_McCreesh)
