Rebecca is faculty in the Department of Physical Therapy at Hanover College (United States) and has held several leadership positions within the American Physical Therapy Association. Currently she is the Chair of the American Physical Therapy Association's Cross-Academy/Section COVID-19 Core Outcome Measure Task Force and the Chair of the Degenerative Diseases Special Interest Group within the Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy. Her research focuses on outcome measures, gait, and neurorehabilitation with multiple presentations and publications in these areas over the past 5 years. She enjoys organizing and participating in intercultural educational exchanges between North American and South American students and faculty which involve clinical learning and research initiatives. Clinically, she continues to treat patients both in person and through telerehabilitation. She is an American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Neurologic Physical Therapy. She earned a PhD in Physical Therapy from Nova Southeastern University, a Doctor of Physical Therapy from the MGH Institute of Health Professions, a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Misericordia University, and a Bachelor of Health Sciences from Misericordia University.
