I have BSc in Physiotherapy and MSc in Disability , Rehabilitation and Development. Ag Head of Physiotherapy Department, Korle Bu Teaching Hospital (2014-2015). Team Lead and Clinical Instructor Plastic Surgery and Burns Center.
Deputy Chief Physiotherapist with 14 years of clinical practice with Burns and Hand therapy as my major areas. I have worked at all levels of the health delivery system- facility, middle level and at various managerial positions. I have also been involved in the management of Lymphoedema in Cancer patients.
My research works has been in WRMSDs among bankers and Return To Work among hand injured cases.
I am a Burns Rehabilitation Specialist for RESURGE AFRICA and Interburns ( Uk). Executive officer of Ghana Burns Association.
Countries of Work Experience: Ghana and Scotland, workshops in others countries- Bangladesh, Sierra Leone , Ethiopia, Burkina faso.
I am one of the authors of the Burns Chapter of Early Rehabilitation manual (Humanity& Inclusion UK).
Vice President (2014-2016). President of Ghana Physiotherapy Association (2016-2021) and currently the Chairperson of the National Council of the Association. Involved in voluntary works in Ghana & Sierra Leone. My interest is helping humanity and Professional matters.
General secretary of World Physiotherapy Africa Region (2020-2024).
