WCPT2021 (200 words): Tobba Sudmann, is full professor of public health, physiotherapist and medical sociologist, and academic head of the PhD-program Health, functioning and participation at Western Norway University of Applied Sciences. Her research focus on how people use their bodily resources to enhance their well-being and social participation, whether the means are in- or outdoor physical activity, technology, nature, or horses. Professor Sudmann are leading several projects; physical activities for persons with dementia, equine facilitated physiotherapy and activities for survivors of abuse, substance use or severe mental health problems. She is also involved in projects related to ageing, e-health literacy, and digitalisation. Publications last 5 years (35+) includes edited special issues, articles and book chapters on community work, technology and aged care, e-health, priority settings, public health, equine-facilitated physiotherapy, addiction problems, anti-oppressive practice and micro-aggression. Prof. Sudmann has given 100+ invited talks. Recent publications include Equine-facilitated physiotherapy – devised encounters with daring and compassion (2018), Embodied reflecting teams for generous physiotherapy (2020), Health knowledge management from senior users of online health information point of view (2021), Sustainable person-centred communities design and practice (2021).
