Kruger, Jonathon

Jonathon Kruger commenced as CEO of the World Physiotherapy in August 2016. Prior to this appointment Jonathon worked as a health service executive in Australia. In addition to his physiotherapy qualifications, he has a Masters degree in Public Health as well as qualifications in law and governance. He has gained substantial expertise and achievement in analysing and influencing public health policy and programmes in areas as diverse as workforce modelling, primary health care and chronic disease. He has an interest in building the capacity of World Physiotherapy member organisations to contribute to the development of the profession and positively influence health policy in their home countries. He has visited many World Physiotherapy member organisations over the past five years and has seen the positive impact of a united international voice, expressed through an international organisation, and the benefits of partnerships and dialogue across geographic, cultural and political boundaries. Jonathon believes that an organisation like World Physiotherapy is a powerful force to help move the profession forward nationally and internationally.
