Karoleen Oswald Scharan is Physiotherapist from the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná (PUCPR), has master and Ph.D degrees in Health Technology from the Postgraduate Program in Health Technology (PPGTS) of the same institution. Develops research with the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) and its contribution to professional training, health approach and clinical practice. Collaborates with scientific development at the Center for Study and Research in Intensive Care (CEPETI) in Curitiba, Paraná. She facilitates contacts and networks for academics and physiotherapy professionals in South America, in collaboration with the World Physiotherapy Confederation (World Physiotherapy). Motivated by the teaching of ICF, develops content of the classification and its health model in digital media through the instagram profile @integracif.
