Graduated in Physiotherapy at Universidade Tuiuti do Paraná (Curitiba/Brazil) in 2001, MSc. and PhD in biomedical sciences - option in rehabilitation at Université de Montréal - Canada. Adjunct Professor at Universidade Estadual do Centro-Oeste do Paraná (UNICENTRO) - Department of Physiotherapy. Member and Delegate from Parana of the Brazilian Association of Neurofunctional Physiotherapy - ABRAFIN. Member of the Executive Committee of International Neurological Physical Therapy Association - INPA as chair of the Education and Practice work group. I am also the Co-Editor of the Somatosensory Pain Rehabilitation. I have been working with neurological PT for 19 years, with a special interest in the use of sensory stimulation in the functional recovery of patients with neurological disorders, as well as in the use of neuromodulation to increase neuronal excitability and favor motor-sensory control.
