Adesola Odole is an Associate Professor and Consultant Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist at the University of Ibadan and University College Hospital, Ibadan, Nigeria respectively. She has over 30 years of physiotherapy clinical practice. She obtained a Ph.D. in Orthopaedic Physiotherapy in 2007 and MSc. degree in Biomedical Education in 2011. She is Acting Coordinator of the E-learning programmes and Assistant Coordinator of M.Sc. Biomedical degree programme of the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan. Her teaching, scholarship and clinical practice have been geared towards health outcomes assessment, physiotherapy education, tele-physiotherapy and intervention of major musculoskeletal conditions. She has over 100 scientific publications in reputable journals. She is passionate about effective learning outcomes, advancing health and promoting health outcomes through education, advocacy and research. She recently published an article on Health behaviours, self-efficacy and quality of life of clinical and non-clinical students of a University in Nigeria. She is a strong advocate of professionalism in Nigeria. She was the Chair, Scientific Council of the Association of Clinical and Academic Physiotherapists of Nigeria. She has regularly presented, served as congress volunteer, abstracts’ reviewer and session chair at past WCPT congresses. She has also presented at several national and international conferences.
