Jennifer is an Associate Professor and the Program Director in the Physical Therapy Program at the University of New England, USA. She holds a PhD in Education with a research focus on PT educators’ teaching styles, international opportunities for students, and curriculum development. Jennifer has been a WCPT abstract reviewer since 2010 and has contributed to the WCPT Congress program in 2011, 2017, 2019, and 2021. She is particularly interested in PT faculty teaching styles, educational theory, and international experiences for PT students (faculty practice, student outcomes, etc). She is the APTA Health Policy and Administration Section, Director of Social Responsibility and Chair of the Global Health Special Interest Group. She has presented nationally and internationally and published her work in several professional journals. Over the course of her career as a clinician, a manager, and an educator she has experienced the good and bad of professionalism. For the last 17 years as a PT educator she has taught the professional communication and professional practice courses in PT curricula. She is an APTA Educational Leadership Institute Fellow.
