Kelly Bower PT PhD has worked as a physiotherapy clinician in Australia since 2004, primarily specializing in neurological rehabilitation. She completed her PhD in 2016 at the University of Melbourne, which focused on the use of video game technologies for balance assessment and rehabilitation following stroke. Kelly currently works as a lecturer (teaching and research) at the University of Melbourne and continues her clinical work at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. In the past 5 years, Kelly has 27 peer-reviewed publications, seven conference presentations, and has conducted a large number of invited speaker presentations and workshops at hospital and research facilities. Kelly has been the recipient of several competitive grants and scholarships from organizations including the Physiotherapy Research Foundation, National Stroke Foundation and National Health and Medical Research Council. She continues to pursue her research interests primarily in the area of technology utilization to support stroke care across the lifespan.
