Cristine Homsi Jorge Ferreira is a Women´s Health Physiotherapist (PhD), Associate Professor at Ribeirão Preto Medical School (University of São Paulo). She was the founder and the first President of the Brazilian Association of Women´s Health Physiotherapy. Her teaching and research focus is Women’s Health with a special interest in pelvic floor muscle function and dysfunctions and she has supervised many Master and PhD students. She is currently an Associate Editor of the Brazilian Journal of Physical Therapy, member of the editorial board of the International Urogynecology Journal and BMC Women´s Health, scientific director of the Brazilian Association of Women´s Health Physiotherapy and Delegate in Chief representing Brazil at IOPTPWH.
